Joint Physical Custody: Smart Solution or Big Problem? - A thoughtful article by a Maryland-based mediator with practice advice for parents looking at custody issues.  

Fathers Rights To Custody - This site is informative and has some quite different features. There is a chat room, message board, articles on topics of interest to fathers, book reviews, statistics, parenting plans, guide to parenting evaluation process and an extensive list of links. A unique feature is the Parent Time Tracker (PTT). PTT is free software available for downloading which keeps track of parenting time either used or denied. There are list of attorneys and guardian ad litems recommended and not recommended with comments.

Locate: Child Care - A statewide computerized child care resource and referral counseling system sponsored by the Maryland Committee for Children, Inc. Offers information on all regulated center-based facilities, family childcare, nursery schools, kindergartens, school, age programs, child development centers and Head Start programs available throughout the State of Maryland. Parents using LOCATE are given information on appropriate childcare facilities based on their specific needs. 

The Children of Separation and Divorce Center (COSD) - The Center provides a variety of services to Maryland residents. COSD recently published “Talking to Children About Separation and Divorce” which can be ordered from the site. This is a non-profit center in Columbia, Maryland, which maintains the website as a public service.
